Accreditato il dotto bibliografo per la magnifica opera della Spenceriana, si è messo a produrre in simil forma i suoi libri, che a misura del gusto, e della ricchezza inglese arricchisce di quantità di stampe in legno, in rame, a fumo, di caratteri variati, di monumenti, e di ritratti che fanno ascendere tropp’alto il prezzo di queste opere, e le confinano nelle biblioteche dei ricchi, quasi impossibilitandone l’acquisto agli studiosi.
